I live alone.
The home
that once felt so
crowded
now seems
colossal,
empty
Where is the
chaos
I once knew?
The quiet
scares me.
My mind
fills
the silence
with noise
that screams
louder
I tell myself
it's better.
That each
decibel
of that
chaos
was a
blade
shaking
in my head
but it's the
thoughts
in the quiet
that slice
deeper.
