Daddy's Little Girl
Her life was never one to brag about,
it was never an easy life to live,
it was full of heartache,
crying,
sadness, pain, and hurt,
she thought it was all her fault.
When she was about five years old,
her Mommy and daddy got a divorce,
her dad left her without one word,
it was extremely hard for that Lil girl,
considering she was daddy's Lil princess,
everyday was a struggle just to get by,
knowing that her daddy cant hold her tight,
when she gets a boo-boo and cry for her daddy,
he is no where to be found.
she cry and wonders,
"was it my fault daddy left?"
"does my daddy not love me anymore?"
she never gets an answer,
just a broken heart.
Her daddy was the only man that little girl loved,
she trusted him with her life,
she trusted that he would never say goodbye,
she believed every word he said,
but that all changed the day he walked out the door.
Years later the little girl found out he found another wife to replace mommy,
they even had a kid,
I guess he was there to replace me.
She cant stop wondering...,
does her daddy hug his son like he hugged her,
does he kiss him,
hold him,
sing with him,
dance with him,
loved him,
like he did with his little girl.
does he kiss his boo-boos and say everything is okay
does he tuck him in bed at night and read a book
does he do the same thing to that boy like he did with his little girl
That little girl is now fifteen and still doesn't have her answers.
She still cry sometimes.
Nothing lasts forever, sometimes not even your daddy.
Her life was never one to brag about,
it was never an easy life to live,
it was full of heartache,
crying,
sadness, pain, and hurt,
she thought it was all her fault.
