The Forest

Leaves hang like trophies on large, elegant trees.
Gleaming with colors of fire and sage.
Aged in gracefulness.

The trees stand like royalty,
The flowers whisper secrets as they bloom.
Cool, sapphire water flows through the brook like a promise.

The rich, moist soil speaks symphonies to all that will listen.
Birds sing precious melodies to life,
Praising its existence with lullabies.

The gentle breeze of beauty morphs the forest into divinity.
Lush green grass breathes life into a new day.
Bushes sit sheltering the small animals that are worthy.

A forest filled with divine beauty and filled with life,
Is merely passed by,
Absent to the mind.

I see beauty in the smallest places and like to emphasize the beauty of it.
