If I lost the light of the Sun, I will write by candlelight, moonlight, no light. If I lose paper and ink, I will write in blood on forgotten walls. I will write always. I will capture nights all over the world and bring them to you

Innocence shattered
Memories replaying
Can’t hide from them
They’re always there
Pure little child
Laugh could melt butter
Now frowns
Frowns could make soldiers cry
Innocence shattered
One horrible night
Crying and Screaming
Screams could wake dead
Heartbroken mother
Son died a hero
Weeps could flood river
Innocence shattered
Life taken early
Never the same
Childhood over
Never returning
Eyes could pierce steel
So dark and brooding
Innocence shattered
So early on
Thoughts could stop freight train
Innocence shattered it will never return

Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game

I love the poem. It has meaning to the concept which is really good. Great job
