The cold around me approaches
It surrounds me
Encroaching on my space
Wanting to take over

I walk around
The cold arena
Underneath are bodies
Frozen and still

Untouched for decades
They want to be released
Out into the open
Creeping and crawling

A chill comes over me
I want to leave
But something pulls me back
How will I escape
