When I tried, I tried for you
When you died, I broke in two
I still try, but now for me
Though it never means as much
You were my hope, my faith, and my trust
With you gone there’s no love or lust
I used to pray for your returning day
And pretend you didn’t get taken away
Disappointment
You will never be gone from my heart
But the time has come for a fresh start
I’ll try to smile and I will not cry
As this, is my, last goodbye.
