She Used To
When she looks in the mirror
A girl is staring back at her
Someone she doesn’t recognize
An unfamiliar face
Bloodshot eyes
Pale haggard face
What happened to her?
She used to be so bright and cheerful
A loveable face
A beautiful smile
She now sees a face that shows no emotion
Hiding in the shadows
Not emitting any light
Feeling insecure
Not knowing what to do
All alone
Secluding herself from others
Letting no one in
Like a black hole swallowed her up
She disappears
