Back In the Day

I could hear the pounding of raindrops on the
Asphalt, on the window and on the playground.
It sadden me that i could not
go outside and play today. I hoped for some faint glimpse
of sunshine but it never came. I would have to stay inside and listen to the teacher. It's
not so bad to stay inside, we can still play
"Four Corners" and Heads Up 7 Up." I usually don't
like these rainy days but then again I get to listen to the beautiful
sound of Mother nature
