I have to cry myself to sleep each night
to keep from feeling the hurt you've caused
the tears numb my soul
which sets my heart to pause
and my feelings for you
will be frozen in time
that way my brain won't want to rhyme
but when the sun rises in the day
the ice quickly melts away
my feelings for you are felt again
which makes me want to wither away
since I'm nothing to you anyway
