How Did You Know?
How did you know?
I thought I hid it so well.
I pretended to want nothing to do with you,
but you were still able to tell.
Everytime I saw you I went into that zone,
Don't talk to him, don't notice him,
and he'll leave you alone.
At times it worked,
and at times it didn't.
Strangely, it actually hurt
when you did it.
It felt like we didn't have a friendship,
Since I was so weird about everything.
I was convinced I was over you,
since, when around you, my heart didn't sing.
But, obviously I'm not,
because apparently it shows.
Or, I wouldn't be asking,
How did you know?
