but you never see me.
When I talk, you hear me,
but you never are truly listening.
You know my name,
but you'll never know me.
Unless, you actually start caring.
You think about how you put things,
but never how you say them.
You think about how you do things,
but never how you lay them.
And you'll never know how you affect me,
unless, you actually start caring.

I wrote this piece when I was feeling depressed about something that can basically be called a "secret love".
