A Beginning With No End

Victimizing the perpetrator,
Procrastination; there is always later,
Lacking a sense of motivation,
Until you feel the urge of temptation,
Deception of the innocent,
Savoring the fatal moment,
Corruption is the only rule,
These lies have never been more true,
Working only to gain more power,
Bathing countries in a nuclear shower,
Stealing from the innocent and the poor,
Just to pay for a precarious war,
The Cruelty Act established,
All of our hope has diminished,
What is left of us to defend?
Our country may never mend.
