Bug in a Bubble
Walking home,
Becca finds a blueberry,
slowly squeezing
it’s leathery skin,
she oozes its
white interior onto her
pale green face.
A bug wallowing in the mush
slips and slithers.
Making sure not to hurt her,
the bug crawls across
his endless path
of her soft lips.
Becca breathes,
his antennae swish in
his newly made wind.
Her breathing continues.
Her blue-sky eyes are his camera
watching and recording
what happens below them
the bug continues his scene,
on his movie set,
as if no one will
ever know them again.
