Gray Poem
Still sitting scared
Glance out the window
Gary and nothing there
The mirror reflects it here
Here into myself
What’s left of me
A broken menagerie
How’d I go so wrong
Long ago when I felt her
The fragile white flower
Crushed underneath my desire
Desire the thief of love
No way to reconcile
The fragile white flower has flown
All the love that I have known
Memories are now trapped
In mirrors that won’t shatter
But what does it matter
I went wrong
And the beautiful flower flows along
