In the Meeting Hall
Great grabs are being taken
To connect us together, in unity.
The members of our group close their eyes
To feel the embrace of each other
Yet others refrain, afraid to be equal.
The spacious bare room
Allowed for more to join.
Each with something to give and share
Candlelight illuminated the serene faces
It seems to warm the bodies among us.
In this center for renewal,
We could have a new beginning
Learning from the past
A peaceful environment with worn furniture
A fire crackling with heat heavy in our clothes.
We must go when ready,
Breaking the bond between us.
Perhaps one will stay,
Unable to leave this comfort.
They are hidden when out of this solid door.
