Day by day I hear the sound of the heater kicking on.
The noise drives me crazy with its click and it's clack.
I hear the water boiling as the heater gets hotter and hotter.
The hissing sound makes my eye lids droop and drop til I I can see is darkness for the rest of the hour.
The sound of the hissing takes me back when I was six years of age, the hissing reminds me of the beach I used to play in. I hear the sound of the cold salty ocean I miss.
I often think as I’m sitting here next to the heater, will this heater explode on me if it gets too hot?
Day by day I get annoyed by this heater with the hissing and making weird sounds.
