"Forget the past. Live the present, and look forward to the future." -Myself

Us as humans
Always communicate in different ways
To take away the words we speak
Would challenge us
Each and every day

If we were to be silent for eternity
Our weaknesses would show
We’d figure out
What some may not want you to know
Our eyes would spill out the truth
Like the melted gold being poured into a mold

Our expressions on our faces
Would show our true emotions
We would fill in those empty spaces
The ones we never know were there
The ones we try to hide and not share

Our children would grow up in a place
Where language is taken away
Along with it the unsettle words
Made only to use for harmful play.

This poem is about what might happen if we were to not be able to speak at all.
