That we bring life to our personal devices,
The things we have made to work for us, entertain us, and even replace each other,
But as these things grow they envelope us. Control us.
But if we simply look up from the computer monitor,
We find that what has enveloped us for so long,
Is nowhere near as welcoming as the world outside the front door.
