Hushed passing of secrets
Sighs of a lagging screen
Eyes skimming across a plane of characters
Muscles of an outstretched arm
Uggs across the cement
Starving students attacking their sandwiches
Unzipping sweaters
The meeting of chalk to the board
Eyes drifting away
The stampede of animals climbing up stairs
Trumpets and trombones in harmony
Satisfaction of a pleasing grade
Bubbling in a test tube
Grins of a long-anticipated Friday
Sun rays shining on the crowded plaza
A chair squeaking when leaned on
Fresh pages from a printer
Nervous thumb-twiddling before a quiz
A hovering parent being put on hold
The rope burns of a PE student
Eyes floating toward the ticking hands
A big sigh of relief
Campaign posters hovering the walls
Obnoxious ringing in between classes
A yellow vehicle pulling up to a curb
Constant drops of a leaky water fountain
Cleats digging in the muddy grass
The clicking that extends the graphite
Salt cascading off fresh pretzels
Flickering light bulbs above gear-turning minds
A pin dropping during a test
Cacti in the gleaming sun
Fast fingers punching out equations
Loaded pages in a planner
Preparation for the rest of your life

We had to write a poem for school, and I was inspired by the noisiness of our school.

I love the rhythm, but I would recommend changing the lines about the eyes, since  you can't really hear that sound.
