Ashlie, Hope
She said
"It's like I'm painting my skin red, it's my painting for the world to see
but for me to only know the meaning."

She told me that she's falling into the sea and never coming back
She's better off dead, there's no room in the world for her
She thinks that hope's just a word and love's just something in fairy tales

I told her there's room for me and her, but all she wants is to paint her painting
She doesn't even see that I'm right here; I can help finish her painting

I tell her that there's such thing of hope and love, that the world has all the room for her
And the sea will carry her safely into my arms
And I'll paint her skin her favorite color and share the meaning to the world
