Each petal provides a different side,
easy going, tough, reserved, and gruff.
It is smooth and velvety on one side,
rough and uneven on the other side.
The petals extend from the sunny yellow middle.
The middle is the heart of the flower
and each characteristic extends out of the heart.
With the heart of the flower extends the stem.
The stem is sturdy and strong,
as it provides nutrients for the flower.
The stem cannot stand alone,
the middle cannot stand alone,
the petals cannot stand alone,
however together they form a flower.
A flower which is contradicting,
a flower which is full of heart,
a flower which is stoic,
a flower which is appreciated by the many who surround it.
