What is this feeling, welling up in my chest?
Seems like it is bigger than all the rest.
I don't know how it came about,
but it just seems to fly right out.
Could be fear, could be doubt.
Sometimes the beast in me seems to come right out.
What is happening to me?
This feeling inside trying to be,
happy, scared, scared, lonely,
Sometimes I sigh, if only, if only.
But today, something has shifted,
causing the veil to be lifted,
Opened my mind,
showing me all I try to hide behind.
I don't know how, I don't know why,
but right now, feels like I could fly.
