To me, people are a lot like leaves.
They grow up safe and secure on their tree
When there finally all grown, good as can be
They're released into the harsh world
Expected to be ready for anything
That might happen
Leaves are all different shapes, sizes, and colors
Some stay in a pile
While others lay by themselves
But some leaves however,
Gracefully drift away in the wind
As if they have a direction
An a plan
And when there time comes
They die
The difference between leaves and people
Is that leaves don't hurt eachother
Like people do
Physically and mentally
We all hurt more and more everyday
Let's be more like leaves
