Away and away we go,
Hello, my friend
Would you like a rose?
Place to place we make home,
Hello, my friend
Would you like a rose?
Back and forth they send us,
Memories we make,
Now memories we brake.
A little piece of home,
In everywhere we go,
No more left, to give away
But still I must say,
Hello my friend.
As we meet again,
As we laugh again,
As we love again.
But ignorant you are,
To the thorns on the rose
If you go too deep
You’re heart will bleed,
And your eyes will tear,
Now your flower will disappear.
As red as my love
I walk alone
A hard shell formed around me
A crystal ball in my mind
Now you know my future
And you found the thorns
But it’s too late, I cannot wait
And so I say,
Away I go, this is the end
Goodbye my friend

My father is in the army and we move from place to place all the time. I've made some really good friends all over, so this is about moving away and how it can be very hard sometimes, especially leaving people I've just become close with.
