My unwanted friend, gone.
My chains of fear, gone!
I’m free!
My Savior set me free!
Fear, pain, regret, insecurity,
hatred, there are invisible in God’s eyes
It happened not to long ago. My Friend cast
my childhood demon out.
Heavens won this battle!
And many more to come!
His yellow glaring eyes that pierced my soul, shut.
I’m free!
His protesting screams, the ones that deafened all, muted.
A friend I’ve had since year 7,
is now gone, silenced, muted, fallen.
