A History's Sorrow
Until too late the moment has fled, so
 We weep the lack of courage;
 Too afraid to approach, to say--
 And before too long we've grown apart.
 Old enough to know to regret
 Fate's threads we cut;
 Until dreams too hopeless to scramble for,
 Shaking fingers too weak to reach
 Suffocated by the mountain's ocean,
 We twine and unravel
 A history's sorrow.
