From God we come and to God we return.
Will I return to the light or fall below and burn?
These decisions I make now, they come at a price.
I can choose to fall from grace, or fly to paradise.
Earth is the nest, in reality a giant test.
Eventually we must leave the nest,
if we fly we did whats best, we passed the test.
And if we fall it is because we failed to learn God’s words,
I don’t know what I’m doing. Whether I’ll fly with the birds
or be pulled down by Earthly gravity and the pleasures of today,
and to push difficult thoughts of tomorrow away.
But tomorrow is always closer than it seems.
If life is balance, one day I’ll fall off the beam.
One day I will leave the nest, one day I will die,
and back to God I will fall or fly.
From God we come and to God we return.
