Noise Killer
Broken Bones
Kill the lies
Because they're proof
But what about
late night cries?
The ones that
nobody every hears
Because sometimes
people who hurt people
hurt them in different ways
hurt them in ways that
don't cause broken bones
they cause broken innocence
Too bad broken innocence
is hard to see on the outside
without binoculars
unlike broken bones
broken bones are like broken hearts
you put a cast on it and sooner or later
it will still have a scar, but it's healed
But what about broken innocence?
Is there a way to fix such a thing?
No, because taking and breaking
someone's innocence is like death
Once you die, you can't live
Broken bones
kill the lies
because they're proof
But what about
late night cries
the ones that
nobody ever hears.

Well hello there stranger. ;)
I love this. I like the idea of whether or not it's possible to repair innocence once it's been broken. It's a question I often ask myself.
