Life's Foreign Language

December 24, 2010
Life is a foreign language
That carries on each day,
But can never be completely understood.
Each word and each concept learned
Begins another day,
But also ends another week.
Sometimes it can get overwhelming
And sometimes it can be confusing,
But if you trudge on to a new tomorrow
Not looking back at what was yesterday,
You will see that you have gained knowledge.
You are still far from perfecting your accent
And memorizing each and every word,
But you're one step closer
To another day and are now aware that just like the imperfections in life
No matter how hard you try, you can never come close
To perfecting a language, you have just begun to learn about.
