The Daydreamer
her life passed by her,
all in a blur,
she was but a shell,
her mind elsewhere,
always,
she was living,
the life of a daydreamer.
she lived in her thoughts,
her unbreakable thoughts,
she was but a shell.
the real world did not appease her,
there was not enough action,
she was living,
the life of a daydreamer.
years passed,
and still,
she was content,
in living in her mind.
as she grew old,
she had lived in dozens of countries and planets,
she had been president of the US,
she had many romances,
she was living,
the life of a daydreamer.
do not say,
she lived and unhappy, alone life,
for she did not,
she was living,
the of a daydreamer.
for that in itself,
is an adventure.
