The day of the funeral felt like the end of the world
The sympathetic black sky cried heavy raindrop tears
As we layed to rest our friend of many years
Tear-stained faces stared sadly ahead
His cold dead body laying on a satin bed
The last thing he'd said would never be forgotten
"When I die don't forget me, even when my body's rotten"
