"I know you and you know me, the one thing I can tell you is you got to free!"- John Lennon

You have my heart
So don’t drop it
The ghosts never
Take off their sheets
But they are always there
Its closer to hell
Than it is to heaven
The fundamentals to life
Are always the hardest
And when life gets thrown at your face
It’s all you can do to duck
Rain falls in sheets
Leaving the world a blurred mess
But it always smells good afterwards
Sometimes a rainbow will poke through
The receding clouds
Bringing sun
But not everyone loves the light
Love hurts more than it helps
Leaving bloody claw marks
On your heart
Roses are red for a reason
Hugs are protection from the night
Monsters don’t live under your bed
But they live everywhere else
The moon keeps the light
In the night for herself
Because real life
Isn’t always sunny
The rain falls in a drizzle
Making life a sad mess
But it always makes
Home feel warmer
In summers its cold
And winter its hot
In the end
We all end up on the ground
Our body’s a car
And sometime we will run out of gas
When you’re tired
Take a nap
When you’re awake
Run until you cant run anymore
Because who knows if you will run again
Life is a candle
And sometime we’ll
Just blink out
So why not go
With a burn
When you’re sad
Cry your heart out
Because no one cares
And it’s the only thing
That makes living
Feel easier
And when the rain falls
There is always someone you can be with
So find them
