Unedible
Skin draped tight over visible bones.
A skeletal portrait of her ideal beauty.
Still, it's never good enough.
Others watch in horror as she slowly fades into an invisible silhoutte.
In her eyes lined with dark circles, you see an exhausted soul.
She's fighting the hunger, starving for perfection.
Her frail bony fingers reach out for existance, but this dark world is empty, robbed from compassion.
She shatters mirrors because she refuses to face the monster looking back at her.
She wants happiness, but that emotion is stuck in her unedible fate.
What she needs is help before anorexia eats her alive.
