It’s hailed
Entrance to the real world.
Fists.

A symbol of brutal
and savage respect.
A token of ultimate power.
Rebellion,
or submission.
Fists.

Spidery claws
enfold around
imperceptible chains.
Chains of human instinct.
Shackles of the beast inside.
Fists.

Glory, sacrifice,
and hardship.
Power.

I wrote this in 10 minutes as the first part of my poetry unit. I got 100 on it.
