Funeral of My Heart
attaching themselves to each other,
Forming a grid work of threads.
a web of forgiveness,
A patch,
woven to cover up the sadness,
The gaping hole,
Eating away at my heart.
You pulled at one thread,
dismantles the entire web,
A domino effect,
A butterfly effect.
The butterflies you gave me,
Getting tangled in the silky strings,
Messed up the whole system
Without any notice.
And without a care.
This is the funeral,
of that heart of mine,
that you so kindly shattered.
Say your last goodbyes.
