It's dark,
And I can't get out.
Please help, I'm begging you.
There's no light,
And I need out.
Please help,
I'm begging you.
You're walking away,
And I need you.
Please help,
I'm begging you.
Wait a light,
And it's coming to me.
My darkness is fading,
Fading into nothing.
The last of you just left,
And my ditch of darkness
Is now a meadow in the bright sun,
Where I now run free.
I don't say goodbye to the darkness
Because I won't miss it.
I won't miss the pain
Or despair you brought to me.
