Life follows a simple path.
For those who laugh,
Life is joyful and short.
But for those who suffer
Through pain and betrayal,
Life is long and without point.
For those who consistently fail
At finding happiness,
Life has no reason, no method.
It becomes a blank enigma,
Far beyond the grasp of our puny minds.
Who decides, though?
Who decides who passes or fails?
Who swims or sinks?
Who decides if a life truly matters?
With Thought
There is a simple answer to a simple truth.
Who decides what simple path you accept?
The only answer is: You.
