Is it the choice you make, or is it a path you must take
To live and let live, to die and let die
To see those who you love tossed to the ground in cold blood
To see your life’s work thrown to the stones of the earth
Or is there another road
To fight for your hard earned right
To live for what you love
Because with pacifism you are a dove
Striving to be set free
Flying at first chance
And dream of a new reality
Where do you find the medium in this
Can you really progress through life
knowing that your so like the rest
Or is it in you to cease all the fighting
And try to talk it out
It is in me to believe
That it is Fight Not Flight
There are choices you must make
And paths you must take
But the answer is to fight
You can try to hide
And sometimes succeed you just might
Though there are always struggles
Whether with the soul, the mind or the body
And you cant just run away
Because it gets you as far as the next corridor
Where you must take what is yours
It will not be given to you, all things are not true
There are lies and deception
You must get up and start the fight
Though it is not all just for you
The helpless, the careless, the righteous, the rich, the poor
For them you can open the door
To the path of true enlightenment
Where what is said is what is meant
That to fight is to live
And naught goes unforgiving
