The night
December 16, 2010
The boy, lays still in his bed,
rolls over, checks the time,
3:30 am christmas morning,
cozy under his covers.
The boy rolls out of bed,
being quite as a mouse,
peaking into his parents bedroom,
seeing them sleep in peace,
he walks out there door.
Walking down the stairs,
looking at the bright lights on the christmas tree,
he see’s all the presents under the tree,
he has tear’s of joy.
“Merry christmas.” a soft voice said.
The boy turned around,
“Thanks dad.” the boy said.
