Mr. Gumwit
When you think of a Magician
What so you think of? A long beard? A pointy hat?
Or, maybe you think of ‘the magic words’
Also, a wand and a hat with a white rabbit
Mr. Gumwit. Mr. Gumwit is a magician
But, he is no ordinary magician. No.
He never went to magic school, nor was he an apprentice
No. Mr. Gumwit is a slightly over weight, jolly, funny magician
He is 5 foot 2, and he wears purple pants
He has a red shirt and a green jester’s hat that is always crooked
Instead of a little white rabbit, he has a long green lizard in his hat
He is always laughing and everyone likes him. Dear Mr. Gumwit
Mr. Gumwit always forgets the magic words
Once he made the principle into a rose by mistake
Meaning to make him disappear
Oh! Mr. Gumwit. Dear Mr. Gumwit!
But even though he is always late
Everyone likes him. Everyone loves him
They laugh who he makes his lizard appear
They hire him forparties even though he sometimes forgets to come
We all love Mr. Gumwit
Oh, dear Mr. Gumwit
Our funny, little magician
(Also, the only one in town)
