They could never understand
What I am here for
But instead
They choose to put you down
When you’re down
They are happy
They will never understand
Loved by few
Fueled by hate
They forget and carry on
I love you
And now I can’t stand the sight of
The fallen star

Dear Teen Ink,

Have you ever felt like you are a huge let down? That is how I felt and that is the main message of my poem.

This 54 word poem will make you think about your life so far and question who you really are. Deep and gripping this poem is one of a kind and brilliant.

I am a student at FWMS and I believe it would be an honor to be a part of your website. Thank you for your time.

T.J. G.
