death of a sparrow

Sparrow, sparrow dancing free
Sparrow, sparrow come play with me
dancers falling, dancers twirling
dancers of fey wandering into the night
i wander through these woodsand this is what i see
My friend the sparrow is lying on a bed of down
not breathing no singing
he is lying so still an arrow on each side
my heart is broken im crying here
i give my friend a kiss to say goodbye
but what happens now this time
a man standing near the bed of down a arrow in each hand walks over now i understand
the death of a friend is a tragedy indeed but the death of a sparrow is a beautiful thing
