I’m always being punished
By adversity
Misery
Difficulty
I ask to see the world in a different light
Bright
But I stare out the window and see shades of gray
The world as I identify
Nothing goes my way
Headphones on
Drown the world
Sparks of color invade my vision
Beats spark crimson
Lyrics spark gold
My world is no longer unknown
