When all was done and all was lost, one tree stood true in the night, tis not grand, and tis not beauty, but this small tree stood true through the fight, where the battle was held of christmas night

The author's comments:
This all started with my english teacher, Mrs. G, she gave us an assignment to draw a christmas tree, and write a poem about christmas inside the shape, from there i wrote almost subconsciously,and when i was done i looked down at the paper and all i could think to myself was, room for improvement, at least thats wat i thought, but When we had to read wat we had written, all my Mrs. G could say was wow, after class i was thinking about the poem, and then i remembered my barely used account on teening, and i thought, "Yeah, just maybe..."
