pieces of glass
so fine
so soft
waves fighting
running and
kicking and
rolling over each other
to reach her
the sea’s other half
his love
with a final breath
a sigh
the waves kiss
her beaches
and glide back
they hide
so dark
so deep
not a soul
can reach them
