Christmas Morning
On Christmas Eve I lay nestled in my sheets,
Dreaming of the milk and cookies I know Santa eats.
I wake up excited to look under the Christmas tree,
Wanting to see all the present that Santa has brought for me.
I wake up my parents with a tight embrace,
Then making them run with me down the stair case.
I looked to my left and my eyes were huge and bright,
For I knew Santa had been there that night.
