The time has come for IT to start
I feel the pounding of my heart
My mind is gone from the cheers
To all the possibilities that heighten my fears
I see the faded white line in the grass
That awaits the stamped of the mass
I feel in vomit rising in my throat
However, I know I cannot use it as an escape goat
All of these thoughts are rushing through my mind
As my teammates and I are toeing the line
