This time last year
I suspected nothing
Out of the ordinary
Little did I know
Something was about to shake
My small world upside down
December 28th was the date
All my emotions spread through me like a wildfire
Now almost a year later
I am getting stronger
The scars are fading quickly
With all support I have gained
From others
I still have a connection
Which is important to me
I am always grateful for the people I meet
Leaving a piece of my heart with thim
