I've got some bones in my closet
and some ghosts behind the doors
some secrets I dread not share
the validity I'm not sure

The spirits are waking
the souls aren't at rest
breaking through the shadows
holding me to this test

The blanket only blocks so long
the prayers only act as charms
what else is there to keep me safe
except wrapping myself in arms
