The cars honk
The bikes ride
The busses roar
The airplanes fly
The city is never quiet
The city is never dark
O’what will happen to the city
When all the sounds and lights go off?

Will it still be called a city?
Or will it still be called a forest
Of buildings big and small
Or a ghost town where every tree falls.
